Since my sister went to Cuba in 2016 I have wanted to visit the country because of its beautiful sceneries where it seems like the time had stop, all the stories I heard from my sister only made me more curious about the island.

It's very interesting its history of revolution, the trade embargo with eeuu and the relations with the soviet union in the context of the cold war, all of this left memorable historical figures.


The trade embargo was a hard hit to the economy, and actually because it is a caribbean island, the main atracction is its white sand beaches and warm waters, in addition to its bright colors and its well-kept aesthetics that makes you think that in that place time stopped with the old houses and cars, at the same time that you feel the relaxation of the rhythm life of their natives

I would like to visit Havana and less touristy places to feel part of the island at the same time that I enjoy knowing and being amazed with new landscapes



I would like to work a not so long period of time in the island, just to fully understand the country, how everything works in general, meet people from there and be able to lead the pace of life they lead, not as fast as it is usually in big cities, but quiet, In the beautiful Caribbean island that I feel, I am destined to travel

    I think Cuba it's a very interesting place to visit. You are definitely destined to travel there.

My pet Eluney

  I found Eluney 3 years ago at the supermarket exit, a one-month-old coffee-with-milk and white kitten, slim, infested of fleas, watching everything with her blue eyes like all kittens of that age, while instinctively meowing for hunger. My family did not agree with having pets, but I couldn't ignore him and took him home anyway. I was for at least 2 months saying that I was looking for him a permanent home, that we were a temporary home, until it was obvious that he was part of our family. Today no one imagines the house without Eluney, he likes to be the center of attention and always receive what he wants. If you go home in the afternoon, it is almost a fact that you will find him sleeping with my father who has come home from work and rests with him on his chest. It is also a ritual for Elu receiving the people he knows and esteems with a sound that, is not enough to be a meow, while he stretches and rolls on the floor waiting to be pampered. He is the soul of the home.

Time travel to the future

 I have never been a fan of the future because I have always been quite an anxious person, keeping that anxiety at bay has made any thought about it try to keep it under control and ideally not think about it for more than 1 minute, because I tend to see the things in a negative way within my positivism, a strange combination. After thinking about it a lot, maybe I would like to travel 4 years in the future, just to know if I managed to achieved my food engineering degree and how I am doing, to know if I am still alive. I wouldn't want to stay there, in fact I'm not sure I want to travel to the future at all, just out of momentary curiosity I would. See if I managed to overcome this stage and how I did it, because everything has really been hard, I am living in my present. Thinking about a future society to travel to is not very fond of me either, because we have evidence on our faces of what is happening and specialists advising the best for a sustainable future and the change...

Changes to my study programme

Some changes that I think should be made in the study program of my career, food engineering, should be changes mainly in the learning focus of the courses for the students, since being a 4th semester student, already enrolled for the 5th semester, I consider that I barely know things about the degree, there are two introductory courses to food engineering that are focused on the presentation of the degree and research knowledge without a stricter guide regarding these terms, or what the standards would be of the reports requested by the branches. Regarding the volume of work, in the current context, the distribution of the academic load, I consider it was poorly planned, because hours and hours in front of a computer, without knowing the situations of each person, I consider it cruel, at least to propose work on paper and active psychological group accompaniment.
