Time travel to the future

 I have never been a fan of the future because I have always been quite an anxious person, keeping that anxiety at bay has made any thought about it try to keep it under control and ideally not think about it for more than 1 minute, because I tend to see the things in a negative way within my positivism, a strange combination.

After thinking about it a lot, maybe I would like to travel 4 years in the future, just to know if I managed to achieved my food engineering degree and how I am doing, to know if I am still alive. I wouldn't want to stay there, in fact I'm not sure I want to travel to the future at all, just out of momentary curiosity I would. See if I managed to overcome this stage and how I did it, because everything has really been hard, I am living in my present.

Thinking about a future society to travel to is not very fond of me either, because we have evidence on our faces of what is happening and specialists advising the best for a sustainable future and the changes are so slow and are taken under economic convenience, although what is at stake the well-being of the planet, the well-being of society, is literal. I find it hard to think that something changes radically, and I feel that at this point what we need is radical. The gradual and half-readiness to new sustainable long-term measures is appreciated, but I can't stop thinking that, if something magical and radical doesn't happen, the future looks hostile.

The only thing I can do personally is try to contribute with everything I can to this world and my environment in the present, setting goals for the medium and long term. If I can be a contribution to my environment, I consider myself paid, I hope to do it from my career and beyond.
